Markilux 1550 semi-cassette awning
1550 is a semi-cassette awning system featuring an extremely twist-resistant 50mm round steel torque bar and with a top gutter equipped with an automatic clean brush that does the work during the retraction process. The design of this product also includes three or five swiveling halogen lights. These lights are integrated in the moving arm part. The style of this awning has been distinguished with an iF Product Design Award.
The 1550 awning is manual drive operated with a stainless steel winding handle or as an extra you can get a radio-controlled electric motor.
As an extra option you can also get a sun and wind sensor. These sensors will allow the awning to react to changes in the weather: it moves out automatically if the sun is starting to shine or it retracts by itself if a strong winds starts.
